ABOUT ME:
As a therapist, I approach my work with care, curiosity, and deep respect for each person’s unique journey. I aim to offer a reflective and supportive space where individuals feel safe to explore their inner worlds at their own pace.
Education:
COSCA Validated Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling, University of Edinburgh.
Doctorate in Psychotherapy (DPsychotherapy), University of Edinburgh (in progress).
Clinical Experience:
With over two years of clinical experience, I have worked with a diverse range of clients across age groups and cultural backgrounds. I have also supported women navigating high-risk situations, including emotional and domestic abuse. These experiences have deepened my interest in the intersections of identity, safety, and how relationships shape our sense of self.
My work is trauma-sensitive and relational, with a focus on how patterns in our relationships can shape our ways of being. I view therapy as a reflective and confidential space where individuals can gain new perspectives on themselves and their lives. I strive to offer a safe, inclusive space where people from all backgrounds feel respected, heard, and supported.
Therapeutic Approach:
My approach to therapy is grounded in the belief that meaningful change begins through reflective exploration within a safe and attuned relationship. Drawing from both person-centred and psychodynamic traditions, I work relationally and responsively, offering an authentic presence that supports clients in making sense of the patterns that shape their lives.
I think of counselling as a collaborative process that uses conversation to deepen self-awareness. Through dialogue, we begin to uncover how past experiences, and internalised narratives influence the present, and explore what might be possible beyond them. This process can bring clarity, create shifts in perspective, and offer new ways of relating to oneself and others.
